These are two new exciting programs. We need particular help with St. Pats Singers
Schola
Schola is a new program for children in Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8. Children and youth learn to sing and ring handbells for Masses. The children and youth also learn about the Catholic liturgy and history. Rehearsal time is Wednesdays from 4:15PM to 5:15PM (30min of ringing, 30min of singing). This choir sings and rings at certain 5PM Saturday Vigil Mass at the Cathedral.
St Pats Singers
Parent Volunteers Needed to Launch
Young Choristers is for children in Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8. Children and youth learn to sing and ring handbells for Masses. The children and youth also learn about the Catholic liturgy and history. We rehearse Thursdays from 2PM to 3PM (30min of ringing, 30min of singing). This choir sings and rings at School Masses, which often happen First Fridays (of the month). The rehearsals have functioned as an after school program for that day.
