The Festival of Lessons and Carols is December 17 at 7:30PM.
This is where we read through scriptures, which tell of the loving purposes of God from the first days of our disobedience unto the glorious redemption brought to us by Christ’s birth. There will be choral music accompanied by organ and Christmas Carols sung by the assembly. It is free to attend this traditional Service and it will be approximately an hour and a half.
Norwich Diocesan Choir will be performing selections of Vivaldi's Gloria, and Cathedral Choir, Bells of Saint Patrick and Young Choristers will be ringing and singing. Our own Cathedral lectors will be reading the readings. This year, we will be singing Silent Night and using Candles.
